I am a big fan of David Gemmells Novels. In Particular Legend, his first novel.

This is my imagining of the great fortress of Dros Delnoch from that book.

I approached this as a Movies concept, not spending any more time than necessary to get the concept across.
Evidence of this approach is the use of quick photo textures and ref.
